Gregg Mitchell, the CSR lobbyist from Washington D.C. provided FCSR members and guests with a fascinating education on the lobbying process in our nation’s capital. He said that local politics play a key role in influencing public policy in D.C. and detailed some upcoming legislation that would be important to FCSR members. Brett Miller and Mary Repper told the audience how local and statewide politics are vital to eventually making a way to larger public policy issues. More workshops are planned for our membership.
